‘True Blood’ season 7: Joe Manganiello shows up for some ‘@midnight’ fun
Even though Joe Manganiello may be a pretty busy guy these days courtesy of “True Blood’s” season 7 production, he still finds the time to apparently check out some of the most-amazing things from the realm of the internet.
The man behind the werewolf Alcide made an appearance last night on Comedy Central’s “@midnight” (a personal favorite on this end for its off-the-wall humor), and he showed up in particular to read a memorable Amazon review that someone gave a t-shirt featuring three wolves howling at the moon. Now, there are a pair of important things to take notice of when it comes to this:
1. Apparently, whoever makes this shirt makes it in a size to cover up all of Manganiello’s abs.
2. Also, we are pretty sure that we have actually seen someone with this shirt on in the real world before. Maybe they were wearing it ironically, we really can’t be sure.
All in all, kudos for “@midnight” for continuing to be awesome, and also kudos to Joe for showing up and rocking the shirt on live TV. This is a guy who has at least done some work with Chris Hardwick before, as he has been a guest on his Nerdist podcast as well as a guest on his Nerdist TV show that aired in BBC America last spring.
The final season of “True Blood” does not have a premiere date yet, but we expect for it to launch on HBO at some point in June. That is, after all, the established pattern so far.
What do you think: Should Joe becoming a fitting spokesperson for this shirt, and pretty much just wear it all the time now? Be sure to share below! Also, click here if you want to sink your fangs into some actual “True Blood” season 7 scoop, or here to sign up now for our CarterMatt Newsletter.
