‘The Blacklist’ breaks ANOTHER live+3 viewing record; will it ever not?

The Blacklist logo any seasonAnother week passes, and it is yet another opportunity for the folks over at NBC to brag about just how amazing “The Blacklist” is doing when it comes to recordings and live+3 viewings. Every week, we have a new report regarding just how wonderfully the show is doing, and now, we are going to be doing so all over again.

In the latest live+3 data that has come out for the new episode of the show airing on this past Monday, over 5.6 million people were added to the 10.2 million who watched live. Once again, this is a record in this metric for total viewer increases, and proof yet again that the network has figured something out. We’d say that NBC would obviously love to have a good many of these viewers checking out the show live, and that is true; but, there is no reason at all to overlook some of the viewers that they have received. These measures, at the end of the day, are still pretty darn impressive.

For “The Blacklist” now, the biggest test for all is going to be seeing just how the show fares when it returns now following the Olympic hiatus. February 24 is the date of the next new episode, and we have a feeling that it is going to fare just fine. What’s the reason for that? Think along the lines of “The Voice” returning, and giving the show once again that impressive edge in the demo.

What do you think: Is “The Blacklist” going to be able to keep this up time and time again every year? Share some of your thoughts below.
