NBC’s ‘Community’ season 5: Alison Brie talks ‘Mad Men,’ Craigslist on Jimmy Kimmel
Alison Brie had a pretty big episode of “Community” Thursday night, as you had an opportunity to see Annie Edison solve a bulletin board crisis at Greendale. Basically, this is the definition of a major crisis at the community college.
So what do we have from her now? Basically, a series of silly videos from this week’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that show off a variety of pretty hilarious things. First of all, we have irony! Brie is technically on the show to promote her upcoming role in “The Lego Movie,” and yet the vast majority of the conversation is spend discussing some ridiculously dirty subjects of conversation that we really cannot get into here. Let’s just say that one of the biggest ones is a chiropractor that she recently went to, and some of the incidents that went along with that. The difference between “Mad Men” and “Two and a Half Men” is also brought into the mess.
Following this, Brie and Kimmel took part in what was a pretty silly game regarding Craigslist listings, which is a part of a bit that he does on the show pretty regularly regarding the “missed connections” portions of the site. The one thing that we continue to find pretty fascinating about this is that sooner or later, we wonder if people just intentionally go on Craigslist, post weird stuff, and then try to use some of those postings to find their way onto late-night talk shows. If you really want to get your creative influence out there for all to see, isn’t this something that you could see someone resorting to? In between this show, “@midnight,” and occasionally “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Tosh.0,” much of the internet is really covered.
What do you think about this video, and what do you want to see from Brie’s Annie later this season? Let us know your thoughts on both of these key questions! Also, click here to read our full review of this most-recent episode of the show.
