‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Another new casting update
Just when you think that the cast list for “Game of Thrones” couldn’t be any larger, we now have this news coming your way: Someone else joining the show! This time around, the casting seems to pertain very much to the world of a certain Theon Greyjoy.
In news that was uncovered for the “Game of Thrones” fandom by show site Winter Is Coming (via his CV), actor Grahame Fox has been brought on to play the part of Kenning in an upcoming episode directed by Alex Graves. What is just as important as this casting is that this is further evidence that for Alfie Allen’s character, the show is going to be relying on material found in A Dance with Dragons, the fifth book the George R.R. Martin series. This is also the most-recent book that is out there in the series, and the downside with that is if the story for Theon is used up this time around, what happens in season 5 of the show?
What we’re trying to say here is that the more and more we hear about stories from A Dance with Dragons being used, it raises further questions and creates that very-volatile situation. The reality here is that there is probably a point coming up where “Game of Thrones” may have to take a little bit of time off, since the last thing you want to do is force Martin to rush a book to the shelves when it would be so much better giving him time to work on it.
