‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: What’s next for NeNe Leakes, Kandi Burruss
For those of your who felt that “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” went completely over the line with this past episode (trust us when we say that we are right there with you), the good news is that you are going to be getting a little bit of a break. There is no new episode of the show Sunday night, presumably because the vast majority of people are going to be much more preoccupied with the Super Bowl.
However, a week from Sunday, the action is going to pick up with a new episode that will hopefully spend only a time amount of time wrapping up that horrible fight from last Sunday, which to us completely made this show uncomfortable and almost unwatchable. Unfortunately, we know from the full synopsis below that not all of the super-extreme drama is over with yet:
“NeNe’s fun couples night turned melee continues with Apollo showering his wrath on Kenya’s friend, Brandon and Kandi pouncing on Christopher Williams and his wife Natalie for her “hustler” allegations against Todd. Then, things quickly turn from bad to worse when Cynthia and Peter become embroiled in the situation causing Kandi to lash out in a shocking display. In the light of the next day, everyone tries to make sense of the drama with each person remembering a slightly different account of what actually happened. When Kandi arranges for all of the women to get together at a spa to smooth over their differences, NeNe’s anger towards Kenya explodes leaving the future of their friendship in jeopardy.”
Even if there are some more shouting matches ahead (see the video below), hopefully the end of the episode will allow there to be some more resolution again. If nothing else, maybe we can get rid of the Williams family, who are not the sort of fun additions that we expect with most of the Friends of the Housewives that turn up. This show already has enough negatie headlines, and certainly does not need any more.

Nene is just a hood…t, period (as she sometimes refers to herself; i.e. “I can get hood.”) Always instigating and talkn’bout someone beatn someones butt. Just ignoramus. She comes for K on the regular (jealousy), but K is time enough for her, so bring it Ne (especially on an intellectual level….no competition there.)
