‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: John Noble, Lyndie Greenwood promoted to regulars

Just as you would have expected following the end of the first season, the world of “Sleepy Hollow” is going to be expanding moving into the fall.

Sources confirm that both John Noble (Henry Parrish / Jeremy Crane) and Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny Mills) have been promoted to series regular, which is a move that you probably saw coming. The moment that it was revealed in the finale that Henry was actually Ichabod Crane’s son, you knew that he had a major story left to tell. Meanwhile, Greenwood had already appeared in most of the first season as Abbie’s sister. While we understand if you want to take this as some sort of proof that Jenny is not actually dead after the finale put her in grave danger, we’re not willing to go that far yet. “Sleepy Hollow” is definitely not above such things as killing someone off, and then bringing them back to life again.

Fox has shown an interest in moving past the traditional television models as of late, and it’s thanks to that we see “Sleepy Hollow” beginning production in March this time around rather than the traditional early summer spot. The reason for that may just be to give the show more time, but we personally feel like it has more to do with a likely early start in the summer. There have been expressions from executives that they would like to see the show air without interruption, and that would probably require it starting in late July or early August in order for it to happen prior to the baseball playoffs. (Take this as mere speculation, though, for the time being.)

What do you think about getting more of Noble and Greenwood, and are you excited now for next season with all of the twists in minds? Let us know by sharing in the comments below!
