‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 15 spoilers: When will Sophia Bush, Mariska Hargitay work together?

Law & Order: SVU logoIn case you missed the memo, there are going to be some pretty major crossover event for “Law & Order: SVU” and “Chicago PD.” Make some sense? Well, we’ve got some more scoop on just what this crossover is going to be.

According to E! News, the first crossover episode of the show will air on Wednesday, February 26, and it will feature Sophia Bush of “Chicago PD” fame appearing on the long-running series. This is going to be a complicated case, and one that has quite a few different wrinkles in it as Mariska Hargitay’s Benson puts a comic in handcuffs after he is accused of rape. What complicates is that this comic has made a number of “jokes” on the subject for some time, and there are also freedom of speech issues that come with that. But, the accusations come after some of the comic’s fans were taking some of his jokes to heart.

So why the long wait for this episode to air? As with so many other things next month, blame the Olympics for it. The games in Sochi are going to be causing quite a few changes to the way that the networks tend to traditionally do things during the February sweeps. Typically, there are new episodes of all shows that air during this time being; the only good news that comes out of this is that there are some more episodes of the show that are going to air a little later on, and there will be less sitting and waiting for new episodes to come on the air. The same goes for “Chicago PD,” which is still extremely early in its run.

What do you want to see from Bush and Hargitay on the same show together? Let us know some of your thoughts below!
