‘The Walking Dead’ season 4: Andrew Lincoln helps to ‘zombie prank’ Norman Reedus

The latest -Are you ready for one of the coolest videos of the week? Well, this one is worth watching time and time again if you are a fan of both “The Walking Dead” and Vine superstar Nick Santonastasso.

In case you haven’t heard of Nick before, he has become a sensation thanks to “zombie pranks,” where he moves across the floor and terrorizes unsuspecting people thinking that he is some sort of zombie creature ready to attack. He is in actuality born with Hanhart syndrome, which left him with just one arm in no legs. (This guy clearly has to be an inspiration without even trying to be one.)

The whole premise of this video below is that as a part of an international promotional campaign for the show in Japan, Andrew Lincoln and executive producer / special effects guru Greg Nicotero flew Nick out to Tokyo in an effort to try to spook Norman Reedus, and make him actually believe that he was going to be a victim in some sort of zombie attack.

Did they really succeed at this in the end? Yes and no. Norman looked pretty scared, but it’s not like this is among the greatest reactions of pure fear that we have ever seen in a prank video. The irony here is that Reedus is one of the people who has helped Nick become so popular, courtesy of the Vines that he has blasted out there of him in the past.

All in all, this is still an awesome way to get excited about the return of “The Walking Dead” in February, and it is further proof that these guys are not completely jaded with the experience just yet. Sometimes, you think that you would get exhausted and bored during this international press circuit.

On a scale of 1 to 10, just how awesome do you think this video (and Reedus’ reaction) really is?
