‘The X Factor’ UK group Miss Dynamix splits less than year after being formed
Some of you may have seen this one coming. Less than a full year after Gary Barlow worked to put the group together on “The X Factor” UK this past summer, Miss Dynamix has announced now that they are formally going their separate ways. What may be interesting about this is that not everyone in the group may have wanted it to be this way.
The news of the group’s split was first announced by member Jeannette Akua, who posted on her Twitter account that the reason for the group breaking up is that there were some creative differences in how they were going to push forward:
“Just wanted 2 address all our fans properly. The rumors are true.’Miss Dynamix’ is no-longer together. We are 3 DIFFERENT girls with STRONG personalities nd want different things in our careers and lives. We love and care for each other … We will always support each other as sisters do. We are so grateful for our fans and your unconditional support also to x factor for the opportunity they gave us. All 3 of us shared something special,which we’ll never forget.”
What makes all of this so interesting is that according to fellow group member SeSe Foster, she would have been happy to continue the group as a trio and that some other band members wanted to leave:
“Hi guys I should be saying Dynamizers. I love you all I’m sorry we’ve split I wish we could stay together however all has to agree … I had a lot of ideas for this year but I guess I’ll have to mould these ideas for a solo act.”
Career-wise, it feels to us like a little bit of a mistake for the group to split up, especially since it was SeSe who wanted everyone to stay together in the first place. They will be far more famous together than they ever will be apart, and Foster was the most famous member of the three. She had quite a few headlines throughout the season, as she was hospitalized on week and had to take extra precaution as a result of her pregnancy.
