‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Boss on new faces, more John Noble, Jenny’s future

Last night, “Sleepy Hollow” season 1 came to a close with an episode that definitely brought quite a bit to the table. After all, it is not often that you get to see a two-hour finale that features possible deaths, a battle to stop Moloch, a huge reveal about Henry Parrish being (massive spoiler alert!) Ichabod Crane’s son, and also a cliffhanger that saw Ichabod Crane buried right back in the ground.

So where in the world do you go from here? That is a question that we know many people have, and the producers / writers seem very much ready to tell the rest of the story. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Mark Goffman teased that first of all, some of the “deaths” on that show may not stay that way. There is still hope for Ichabod, and despite what we saw from Jenny, her fate may not be sealed just yet.

When it comes to John Noble, he was told prior to even joining the show that he was going to be playing Ichabod’s son; therefore, he has had that sort of information to work from ever since the beginning. He will be back, and Goffman is also interested in getting more John Cho so long as he is open schedule-wise.

There will also apparently be a whole score of new faces in the upcoming season, as the show looks to expand out into more of the town:

“We actually do plan to introduce some new characters. One of the big goals, which goes along with the idea of war in Sleepy Hollow, is that we need to populate the town more. So we expect to build out and get to know more of the town of Sleepy Hollow and that will definitely mean bringing in some more characters. And some of them, I think, will be supernatural.”

Season 2, as previously reported, will start filming later this spring, and could run consecutively in late summer or early fall. The most important thing is that you’re not going to be waiting at least for a full year to see what comes next with Ichabod and company.
