‘Doctor Who’ season 8: Peter Capaldi has support of ‘The Musketeers’ stars
While Peter Capaldi may be appearing as the 12th Doctor on “Doctor Who” later this fall, there is another part right now that he is making waves for in the latest project “The Musketeers.” This is a show that was of course based on the novels, but does have a very different sort of feel and energy about it.
Now, let’s get to what some of those co-stars are saying! According to RTE, one of the stars of the BBC project in Maimie McCoy (who plays Milady de Winter) had the following to say:
“He is perfect for it. He’s also massively into it – I think he has been since he was very young which is great for the show.”
Also, Tom Burke (Athos) also shared a comment that he was at first surprised to hear the news:
“It hadn’t occurred to me and when he was cast, it just seemed the most brilliant decision. I thought, ‘Of course!’ so I’m very excited.”
Capaldi started shooting the eighth season a little earlier this month in Cardiff, and will doing a variety of different things when it comes to The Doctor. He’ll still have Clara at his side, but the worlds that will be visited and then some are still very much a mystery.
