‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Gabriel Macht on working with his father

It’s hard for you to get many chances to work with a member of your family as an actor, especially when that family member is not actually playing a relative of yours. However, Gabriel Macht is getting that very opportunity on an upcoming “Suits” season 3 arc, where his father Stephen is going to be gracing the screen.

In case you had not heard previously, Stephen is going to be guest-starring on the show in the role of  a professor with some deep ties to Harvey, and could share quite a bit of interesting screen time with her. These two characters have a lot of energy to tap into, and while at the TCA Winter Press Tour, Gabriel Macht explained (per BuddyTV) just what this experience was like overall:

“He plays a Harvard ethics professor who is a large threat to outing this character. So I come and try and blackmail him, which is kind of a funny thing where, you know, Harvey’s trying to blackmail an ethics professor. … We had a great time. It’s kind of hard to say, ‘You smug son of a b**ch’ to your father, but…”

The remaining six episodes of the season are going to focus on quite a few things, but at the top of the list around going to be such things as Mike and Rachel try to push forward with their relationship. Not only that, but Louis Litt has to process what to do with the information that he has, and this could impact everything that we have seen already with Mike and Harvey.
