‘House of Lies’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Kristen Bell and the interrogator

When Jeannie took on a more powerful position at Galweather, we anticipate that she thought that she wouldn’t have to deal with such things as prodding or pestering. However, that is what the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s “House of Lies” suggests that she is going to be stuck doing.

In the sneak-peek video below, you can see Julianne try to “educate” Kristen Bell’s character and offer up a bit of mentoring for a woman in a male-driven world, but we see soon after that that what is really going on here is more along the lines of Jeannie being interrogated for information. Julianne is actually trying to use the whole sort of girl-power movement as some sort of method to push her more and more for information about who doesn’t like her.

After watching this preview, unfortunately, the identity of any and all detractors is still a mystery. Jeannie doesn’t give up the goods! Does that mean that she will stay silent forever? Hardly. All it means instead is that we could be stuck waiting for at least a little while longer to see if Jeannie is willing to give anything up.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, you have to remember that Marty is still out there. The feelings between the two of them haven’t gone away, even though we figure that Jeannie may have a little more hesitation now to do something about her feelings after what happened in the finale … not to mention the ending of the first season, as well. History is not her friend.
