‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Cynthis Bailey and an anniversary surprise

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is a show that often chooses to completely surround itself with drama, sadness, and breakups. Just look, for example, at what Porsha Stewart is going through right now. Even with Kandi Burruss, you have a woman in a relationship, but both her work and her mother are doing what they can to interfere and throw a wrench into her plans.

So why not celebrate something happy for a change? That is what we’re going to do in the latest sneak peek for Sunday night’s episode, which focuses on Cynthia Bailey and her impending anniversary. She and Peter have went through their fair share of issues, but they have found a way to rise above most of it.

This scene in particular is noteworthy since it introduces us to Christopher and Natalie, who both Cynthia and Peter know from many years ago. The two have only recently moved to Atlanta, and Natalie is going to have a part to play moving forward the rest of the episode. She’s not a regular by any means, but she is someone that should be interesting to watch interact with all of the ladies. If there is one thing that we have learned already, it is that no one likes to stay particularly quiet when it comes to their opinions! We expect that to hold true here.

Let’s just hope that most of the episode stays centered around situations that could happen in real life, and also somewhat cheery. We like to think that we have already witnessed enough reality TV depression to last a season.
