‘Game of Thrones’ season 4 spoilers: Kit Harrington, Emilia Clarke, and SAG Awards chatter
While there may not have been much of a “Game of Thrones” presence at the Golden Globes this past weekend, that started to change up at least somewhat Saturday for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Hollywood. Most of the cast was in attendance thanks to their big nomination, and that led to some interviews and scoop in the process.
We’ll start with Kit Harrington, mostly because he is the actor who actually shared a few thoughts on what lies ahead. Speaking to Ross Matthews on the E! red-carpet show, he said that this was a season that he really enjoyed, especially since it is one that allowed him a big chance to do all sorts of great stuff:
“It was my favorite season on paper that I’ve read … and that goes a long way. It was the biggest for my character, for sure.”
Harrington joked that if he said anything about the deaths that are coming up this season, he would not be able to be at the SAG Awards with the show next year.
Emilia Clarke was also at the show, but her conversation with Giuliana Rancic was a little more superficial. Despite her hair color as Danaerys, she has never had blonde hair in real life. She also had the opportunity to meet Jared Leto of “Dallas Buyers Club” and 30 Seconds to Mars, who has not actually seen the show before. (This was both fun and very awkward at the same time, since she seemed to very much be a fan of his music.)
“Game of Thrones” season 4 is already done filming, and is going to air on HBO starting on Sunday, April 6.
