‘The Originals’ spoilers: Newly-minted ‘True Blood’ actor snags role
Clearly, Nathan Parsons likes being a part of the supernatural community. Not long after the news was revealed that the former “Bunheads” star was cast on “True Blood” season 7 as a replacement for Luke Grimes in the role of James, Zap2It reports that he will also be turning up on one-of the more mild vampire-and-werewolf shows out there in “The Originals.”
As for who Parsons is going to play alongside the likes of Joseph Morgan and Phoebe Tonkin, it is the role of Jackson, a strong-willed werewolf in the Louisiana bayous. He is going to have some connections to the character of Hayley, and his presence starting in February could prove valuable. (Given that he does have this other job starting this month, though, it’s likely that he will not be staying around for at least a little while longer.)
“The Originals” returned last Tuesday with an episode that really focused on what was going on with some of the women in New Orleans, and from here on out, some of the primary questions are going to revolve around whether or not Klaus can actually find a group of people loyal to him, if Marcel can take some of the power back, and if Hayley and Elijah are going to start to finally become an item. If they do, then this does raise some of those interesting questions about mortality that we first saw during “The Vampire Diaries” when Elena and Stefan first got together.
What do you want to see unfold on “The Originals” the rest of the way, and are you down with seeing what could be a much larger werewolf presence on the show? Be sure to share your thoughts below.

i don’t think Hayley is mortal anymore. I think she is the first hybrid not made from Klaus. Rules of pregnancy is that momma and baby share blood. This is demonstrated early in the season when Hayley get hurt, and she has unusual healing ability.
