‘American Horror Story: Coven’ episode 12 preview: The ‘who is the Supreme?’ debate lives

The latest -American Horror Story: Coven” has made a living out of being nuts and all over the place, and we saw yet another manifestation of it this week with all of the random (bleep) that went down here. You had Zoe and Kyle on their way to a trip to Epcot, some horrific slave torture that we never want to see on TV again, Marie seemingly being taken out thanks to Spalding coming back out of nowhere (as is this show), and Queenie basically running around and being awful to everyone for no reason.

At this point, there is only an answer to one question that can start to aid our very-confused mind: Who is the Supreme? While that may not be answered in next week’s penultimate episode, there will at least be some more clues to get you in the right direction. There will also be more of the Axeman realizing that he cannot run away from his woes forever, and Zoe is going to be feeling pretty confident.

Fittingly given the action as of late, this episode is entitled “Go to Hell.” Want to read more? Then just take a look at the full synopsis:

“A dying Fiona becomes even more desperate to find and destroy the new Supreme… but also wonders if she should give it up and just enjoy her final days. As the time approaches for the new Supreme to demonstrate the Seven Wonders, a dangerous ritual proving the Supreme’s ability to master seven magical powers, more than one of the remaining girls begin to manifest multiple new powers. But it’s Papa Legba who Queenie demonstrates her newest power to: the power to descend into Hell, and to return. Cordelia has a nightmarish vision that puts the Coven’s future in question, while another vision leads her to confront the Axeman with a hard truth. Meanwhile, Queenie confronts Madame LaLaurie, who has found a new sense of ghoulish purpose, and Zoe returns to claim her destiny. And more than one person must face the consequences their actions when multiple acts of bloody vengeance are carried out… one of which may bring about the rise of the new Supreme at last.”
