‘The Originals’ episode 11 preview: The meaning of “Après Moi, Le Déluge”; Joseph Morgan’s move

Did enjoy the female-centric episode of “The Originals” Tuesday night? It was one that allowed some of these characters to finally get their power back after everything that Klaus, Marcel, and the rest of the men had done to them … but you also must remember that with almost every action comes severe repercussions.

This is where the next story comes into play. The next episode of the show is entitled “Après Moi, Le Déluge,” which is a famous French phrase that translates to mean “after me, the flood.” Basically, it’s almost the storm that comes after the calm. French is of course very valuable to New Orleans, as well, given the big role that it plays in the culture.

Want to find out more? Then just take a look at the synopsis below:

“When Davina (Danielle Campbell) becomes violently ill and the repercussions soon begin to affect the entire French Quarter, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) rush to find out what is going on. Sophie (Daniella Pineda) approaches the others with some startling information about the Harvest Festival and presents a drastic plan to save Davina. Elsewhere, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is racked with guilt as she comes clean to Elijah about her role in Sophie’s plan. Last, a sequence of unforeseen events sends shockwaves through the French Quarter.”

The promo below for this episode also adds a touch of even more drama, especially when you think about how Davina is starting to gain in power, but still has the protection somewhat of Marcel. This entire situation is becoming very messy, and we have to celebrate that.

As for Elijah and Hayley, we just wonder whether or not the confession that comes out of this is going to destroy what could have been a prosperous relationship. Oh, they mystery!
