‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: ‘General Hospital’ star to play latest Squintern

Want to read some more about the latest edition to “Bones” for season 9? Well, we’ve got the scoop for you that a soap star is going to be diving into the world of the Jeffersonian headfirst.

According to a new report from TVLine, “General Hospital” veteran Ignacio Serricchio has been booked to play the role of forensic anthropologist who arrives in the United States and finds himself in a pretty frustrating position. Rather than describing the man ourselves, why not allow executive producer Stephen Nathan do the honors? Take a look at his role:

“He has to work his way up to a position that he already occupied for many years … He feels that he’s Brennan’s equal, but Brennan really doesn’t feel the same.”

This to us at least sounds like someone who is going to be very interesting to watch, mostly because it is a very different sort of role for the squinterns to take on. More often than not, these are characters who are just happy to be in that situation spending time learning the ropes of what it takes to be a valuable member of the team.

“Bones” still has many great mysteries coming up the rest of the way this season. Not only is the show going to be taking on the difficult challenge of keeping a relationship fresh after they seem to already have it all, but there is also the issue of the Ghost Killer. There is no real proof yet that this woman exists beyond conjecture and some signs here and there, but it feels like the show is going in that direction the rest of the way.
