2014 Golden Globes: Live stream the red carpet pre-show; also, TV predictions!

The 2014 Golden Globes are just mere hours away from airing on NBC, but before the show starts, we are here to answer another very important question: Just where in the world can you watch the live red-carpet show live?

Well, we have a few different options for you. One of the easiest ways to do it, of course, is if you happen to have cable. The pre-show over on E! is a personal favorite, mostly because it is great for the sake of hate-watching. Who doesn’t love to give a good mocking of the mani-cam? There are silly little advancements that are used every year to somehow make this awards show even more dramatic than it really needs to be.

If for whatever reason somebody in your house is using the TV to watch the end of an NFL game, don’t worry: We have a hookup for you, as well! For those who are really curious, most of the BIG stars choose not to arrive until after the 7:00 p.m. hour (or 4:00 for those on the West Coast).

Now, let’s talk a little bit about predictions. Expect “Breaking Bad” to have an enormous night, where it will likely win a good chunk of what it is up for. As for surprises, don’t be surprised if Kerry Washington pulls off an upset in the Drama Actress category, or if “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” steals the Comedy Series race. You can actually watch the majority of our picks just by checking out our pilot episode of the CarterMatt Podcast below where Editor-in-Chief Matt Carter sits down with Jason Prager to discuss their favorites.
