‘Sleepy Hollow’ spoilers: Could Jeremy still be alive?
If there is one thing that we have learned about the entire science fiction genre over the past several years, it is this: Shows really like to play around with the notion of who is really alive, and who is really dead. At times, it gets to the point of pull-out-your-hair frustration. We saw that very recently with “American Horror Story: Coven” … and we will probably continue to feel that way with “American Horror Story: Coven.”
So with all of this in mind, we turn to a question that is on the minds of many right now: Is it actually possible that Ichabod Crane’s son Jeremy is still alive on “Sleepy Hollow”? Well, speaking to TVLine in a new interview, executive producer Roberto Orci does not exactly rule out such a possibility despite what we saw happen to him at the end of this past episode:
“You know … When you’re dealing with God and the devil and that kind of thing, anything’s possible.”
One of the great things about this show at the moment is simply that they have still have license to be creative without anyone really breathing down their necks. For example, if there is a massive demand to see much more of the story when it comes to Jeremy, the character can be introduced on the show next season.

Thinking purely pragmatically, would a show that only has 13 episodes in a season spend one FULL episode on this kid, only to never have him figure in the plot again? Of course not. The witches “stopped his heart,” much like Katrina stopped Ichabod’s, presumably. He can be risen, the only questions are how, when, and why (and will he be good or evil when they do?).

The coven didn’t say they killed Jeremy, the said Hexed him, so the PTB’s can easily write him in on Season 2….I hope!
