‘Elementary’ season 2 spoilers: Ready for more Mycroft?

Since we are right in the middle of what we like to call Sherlock Holmes Season in between “Sherlock” on BBC and “Elementary” here, why not share a little bit more news on what could be coming up for the CBS show? While last week brought us the return of Natalie Dormer as Moriarty, who is ready to see a little bit more of Mycroft on the series, as well?

After getting an opportunity to check out quite a bit from Sherlock’s brother earlier on in the season, executive producer Rob Doherty confirms in a TVLine interview that you will see the character in four of the last six or seven episodes of the season. As for what the man could be up to when it comes to Sherlock, it may be incorrect for you to automatically assume that the man is considering trying to do the worst things imaginable to his brother:

“We certainly want people to be wondering what his true motives are. But no, I would never assume the worst. I would consider the worst as one of many possibilities.”

What we would like to learn a little bit more about is when we could see Dormer again, since the way that things have been set up, it could happen at almost any given moment. We know that Moriarty is still behind bars, but she spoke in the past episode almost like she has the capability to get out at any time. Maybe this is just exhibiting her own special brand of crazy, but this does sound a little like someone who should be feared on some level.

“Elementary” will continue its run of new episodes on Thursday, but we probably will not have an episode as crazy as what we just witnessed.
