‘The Originals’ spoilers: Joseph Morgan, mayhem highlight latest preview

Next week, The CW will rain upon you a deluge of new programming, and that includes a chance to celebrate the rise of “The Originals” once more. The vampire drama returns a week from today with an episode entitled “The Casket Girls,” and while there is no guarantee that all of the footage in the promo below is from that episode, you do get an epic inclination that there are some awesome things coming up down the road.

As for what some of these awesome things are, let’s just say that it involves some witches finally starting to flex their power, as well as some more devious plots from Klaus and company. The real treat of “The Originals” is that it represents an opportunity for chaos to constantly show itself, which is what we saw with the overthrow of Marcel.

As we get closer and closer to the end of this season, what you do have to wonder is this: Can Klaus be redeemed in any way, and will Joseph Morgan’s character start to settle down a little bit given that there is a child coming into the world that he is going to be responsible for? That has to be something that is on his mind as he is going through most of this madness. Also, you have to wonder whether or not Hayley and Elijah could get together, or if there is a way that Rebekah can finally find someone in her life who cares about her and is not going to just push her aside when it starts to become inconvenient.
