‘Girls’ season 3 spoilers: Lena Dunham spills secrets in ‘Good Morning America’ chat

How do you know that “Girls” has become a phenomenon? It has somewhat to do with the fact that Lena Dunham is now able to have some sort of talk-show circuit on major networks.

This morning, the actress made an appearance on “Good Morning America,” where she started off trying to figure out what to say about getting some sort of kiss from “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis. (We almost want to see Hannah Horvath on “The Bachelor” now…) Most of the interview was spent dishing on the new season, which Lena promises will at least start off well for her character. She and Adam are going to be in a committed relationship; not only that, but she is going to be looking forward to her future of being a writer. She is taking her job much more seriously now, rather than just being someone who tries to put on the airs of being a writer without really putting forth a whole lot of the effort.

The biggest difference superficially between season 2 and 3 of “Girls” is simply the episode count: Season 2 was only ten episodes, whereas season 3 is going to twelve. That allows for more interesting, character-driven stories to be told, and also opportunities to showcase a greater spectrum of people within this bizarre, hipster-friendly world that Hannah inhabits. (Given that Hannah was even called a “hipster” during the interview on the show, we feel like it is somewhat more acceptable now.)

What do you want to see on “Girls” season 3 from not just Hannah, but the entire cast? Share some of your thoughts.
