Watch ‘House of Lies’ season 3, ‘Shameless’ season 4 premieres now!

Showtime is giving a nice little gift to all of you today, even if you are not a regular subscriber to their network: The opportunity to watch the first episodes of some of their shows’ new seasons early! While it has been a little while since the network has handed out such a treat, we are really not that surprised to see it be given out now. These shows are the ones that need viewers more than “Homeland” or “Ray Donovan,” and so it makes sense to try to push for them more than some others.

The three shows that are featured below are “Shameless” season 4, “House of Lies” season 3, and “Episodes” season 3, which are going to be airing in that order starting on Sunday night. This opportunity is great if you haven’t caught any of the shows, and if you are looking to try to pick up a new obsession or two in the new year.

Out of the group, “Shameless” is probably the biggest hit at least when it comes to an audience, but even it probably needs a little bit more extra promotion at this point. It is no longer the buzzed-about hit that it once was, and most of the reason for that is that there are plenty of other programs now out there with that sort of “shocking” label. It’s hardly unusual at this point to have another show that can surprise you. All three of these programs are pretty good; the only thing that they really suffer from is an ability at times to be lost in the shuffle. “House of Lies” does repeatedly score nominations for its star Don Cheadle, and even though he has won some awards gold, he is often not thought about as the top contender to win.
