‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ episode 12 preview: The hunt for the Pontiac bandit

You know that you have been hunting someone for a long time when the car that they are famous for stealing is pretty much obsolete, and that is what we have courtesy of the Pontiac bandit. On the new episode of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” airing on Fox Thursday night, you are going to get an opportunity to see just what happens when Jake Peralta tries to confront one of his most nefarious criminals, and that is someone that he has been trying to track down and destroy for most of the past eight years.

The video below is mostly just a funny look at some of the history that Jake has with trying to track this criminal down, and how he and Diaz have been in cahoots to do so for at least part of the journey. We also learn through here that the two have a tradition that dates back to their days at the police academy, which is mostly just interesting since it shows that Diaz has had both the pleasure and the curse of being around someone who can both be very useful and also irritating to those around him.

Above all, if feels like the makings of yet another great episode of the show. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” has been off the air for a little while thanks to the holidays, but there are some exciting things to come … especially when you are talking about the post-Super Bowl episode that could draw huge ratings.
