‘The X Factor’ UK: Former winner James Arthur returns to Twitter after long hiatus
Has James Arthur finally decided to resume his life on social media? He is at least taking some steps in that direction many weeks after a controversy over some comments in a rap battle caused him to be widely criticized by many celebrities and even one of the “X Factor” judges in Louis Walsh.
This week, the “You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You” singer took to his official Twitter account, where he decided to post about something that he obviously holds near and dear: His music, and some upcoming performances. He avoided any negativity, and kept his message somewhat simple:
“Very excited about opening night tomorrow!!!!! gunna play some footy at goals with the band and crew to get rid of that tension! … So good to be back guys I really did miss you! It’s good seeing you all buzzin about the future again! My best projects are to come! #LOVE”
Can James turn his career around? It is going to be a pretty difficult task for him, mostly because of everything that is already under the bridge, and his Twitter had produced more than one controversy for him. But, we have also at the same time learned that putting out a good product can heal a lot of wounds, and we know that there is some serious talent here. We remember still saying at the time he won the show in 2012 that he was our favorite “X Factor” winner ever, though that was before the comments and some of the other extracurricular stuff started to sour our opinion somewhat.
While James is getting ready for his crazy 2014, we know that “The X Factor” UK is doing the same thing. There is a ton of uncertainty out there about the future of the show in many ways, from the judging panel to if there are still some great acts to show off. But, we imagine that everything will come together as usual in the summer, when the show really starts preparing for the fall premiere.
