‘Justified’ season 5 spoilers: More about Raylan, Winona, and another love interest

There are many mysteries in the world of “Justified,” but the status of Raylan’s unborn child has to be one of the biggest ones. Winona has been pregnant on the show for so long, we almost have a hard time remembering the child’s conception at this point.

Luckily, TVLine confirms that by the time season 5 starts up, the child of Timothy Olyphant’s character will have already been born. Does this mean that there is going to be a ton of Natalie Zea? Hardly. She’s had some other gigs out there, including “Under the Dome” and “The Following,” that tend to keep her busy. In addition to that, Graham Yost suggests that a reunion between Winona and Raylan wouldn’t be likely even if Zea were available, mostly because the two characters just do not have the sort of tools at their disposal to really work things out.

But, there is still some news when it comes to the Raylan romantic front. There is going to be another love interest on the show played by Amy Smart, who is going to be an intelligent and crafty social worker. Whether or not Smart sticks around is something that will play out throughout the season, but we cannot really express that much confidence in any “recurring love interest” character. Why? Raylan has a hard time committing to any one woman… if not Winona, the mother of his child who he loved, then it’s not likely that he’ll suddenly want a long term relationship now..
