‘Girls’ season 3: See Lena Dunam, Allison Williams, and more in new promo images

“Girls” season 3 is now less than two weeks away. Are you excited? If so, then hopefully some of the images that we have to share below will find a way to get you even more ready to go for everything that is going to be coming around the bend in the new year.

These images (which were posted recently on the show’s official Instagram page) present the characters in a very glamorous look, and one that reflects almost perfectly what we saw from some of them during the promo poster that was released by HBO last month. They were also released in bunches: One image focuses on Hannah and Adam, while another focuses on Marnie and Jessa and the third is all about Shoshanna and Ray. These six characters are the only regulars on the show right now, given that Christopher Abbott is gone and Andrew Rannells is a recurring at this point.

At the moment, it is still hard to deny that Lena Dunham and Allison Williams are the two breakout stars of the series, with the former taking on most of the creative challenges and the latter being in contention for all sorts of major movie roles these days. However, you can also not dispute that Zosia Mamet is starting to become more and more popular, and Adam Driver was even an Emmy nominee this past fall for his take on the bizarre Adam. Alex Karpovsky also scored a Critics’ Choice TV Award nomination this past spring for Ray. This is a critically-acclaimed bunch, and hopefully the third season will meet high expectations and also yield big results for everyone.
