NBC’s ‘The Voice’ season 6 preview: Shakira, Usher find new ways to harass fellow coaches
Not only did “The Voice” have a presence in the 2014 Rose Parade on Wednesday morning, but the show also did its part to start to get the promotional wheels going for its new season starting up on Monday, February 24.
So what is going to be coming up this time around? For one, it is the return of popular coaches Shakira and Usher to the show for the first time since the fourth season. While we do like Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, we also admit that there is something very entertaining that comes from watching these two come together with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. The difference now is that they are also coming on here with all sorts of experience about how to find the right person and mentor them. We’re hoping that this leads to Shakira faring better, and for one of them to maybe make it so that there is a season not won by either Adam Levine or Blake Shelton. These two guys are the only two coaches to have won in the five seasons that the show has been around so far.
At least based on this promo, it looks like the gloves are going to be off for these coaches pretty quickly, and things are going to be crazy. After all, we have them trying almost anything and everything that they can in order to get some people on their team. Usher will have created some signs cautioning people against picking Adam, Shakira is going to show off some hip action, and there will be trash-talking aplenty. These are all reasons why the blind auditions are some of the best fun that you can have watching reality TV.
What do you want to see on season 6, and are you already starting to get excited for Shakira and Usher both being back on “The Voice” again? Share some of your thoughts below!

I’m addicted to this program and thrilled to have Shakira & Usher back. I find the chemistry between these four much more exciting than with Christina and CeeLo.
Usher’s urbane attitude is priceless!
