‘The X Factor’ UK: Nicole Scherzinger talks uncertain future on show

Are we going to see more of Nicole Scherzinger on “The X Factor” UK? There are so many different factors at play here, and even if she is interested in coming back on the show for more, that does not mean in that a return appearance is actually going to happen.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the judge / former Pussycat Dolls member suggested that the ball is in Nicole’s court, and she is trying to make a decision with considerations to the fact that she is working on a new album to be released in the new year:

“She’s torn between the two — she loves the show and loves working on it but is conflicted … She is taking time out at home with her family to decide what move is best to make.”

If we were in Nicole’s shoes right now, we really cannot sit here and say that this would be anywhere near this hard of a decision. If the show wanted her back, she should go back since it is guaranteed money, and her music career never really took off in America quite as well as it has in parts of Europe. This keeps her in the spotlight, and the live shows serve as a great launching pad for a single. Plus, you can tour at the times in which the show is not filming.

But, the great thing about this statement is that regardless of if she leaves or if the show decides to move in a new direction (since some of her shtick was starting to get old this fall), she will have an opportunity to say that she went out on her own terms. That’s always a great thing for the resume.

The hotter rumors right now are that we could see a reunion of the popular panel that existed before Simon Cowell left for the American show, but no decision will probably be made for a few more weeks when it comes to who is leaving. It could be several more months before an official panel is named.
