ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 11 preview: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and a fire rescue
“Under Fire” marks the first episode of “Castle” season 6 to air in 2014, and come January 5, you are going to get quite the opportunity to see some drama unfold from what is at its core a very fiery situation.
The sneak peek focuses on many of our main characters, as they try to figure out just what is at the core of a very dangerous arson investigation. Castle and Beckett start things off by speaking to a man who appears to be quite the fire enthusiast, or at least the master of accumulating as much information as possible on the subject for a website. Is he at fault for a series of violent fires around the area? He does his part to assure Castle and Beckett that this is not the case, and instead that he is more or less providing a service.
It’s then that things start to become somewhat dire for the show’s characters, as it is quickly revealed that Ryan and Esposito were in a building being investigated for clues at the time in which it caught fire, which in turn of course puts the rest of the team in a precarious position. The firefighters are not willing to throw themselves into a position that will lead to certain death, but Beckett at the same time is clearly not altogether cool with the idea of sitting around and doing nothing. Either Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion’s characters are going to have to figure out a new way to save their friends and colleagues, or the firemen are just going to be relied on to rush in as soon as they are able, and to hopefully pull them out alive.
