‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’ season 3 features Jerry Seinfeld, Tina Fey, more (video)

There are few other web series out there that are as eccentric, or at times as funny, as Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” Just as his longtime show was largely all about virtually nothing, these Crackle episodes are really nothing more than Jerry babbling on with people about various subjects. Outside of the conversations, the real appeal here is either seeing Seinfeld drive some incredibly fancy car that reminds you about how much syndication money he’s rolling around in, or finding out some more about cool breakfast spots in New York City.

As you would expect when you are Jerry Seinfeld, you are pretty capable of getting some big celebrity guests to appear on your show. Some of the top-notch personalities hitting the road with him for coffee this time include Jay Leno, Tina Fey, Louis C.K., Howard Stern, and more. Leno to us is the most interesting in that Seinfeld also has one of these with David Letterman, but then again, Stern’s also somewhat interesting of a choice given that we consider him a radio host more so than a comedian.

The first episode of the new season will debut on January 2 at noon, meaning that you’re not going to have to wait very long at all into the new year in order to check these out. So what better way to irk the people sitting next to you at the office the putting on headphones, and then awkwardly laughing every couple of seconds whenever something funny happens. (Of course, you better have on headphones if you’re watching this from work, since there is some very suggestive language in here that would offend some of the more conservative folks in the office.)

Are you excited to see this series back, and does this sort of stuff make you wish that there was something greater featuring Seinfeld on TV?
