Conan O’Brien visits American Girl Store, makes holiday season that much brighter

And the award for the funniest video of the entire Christmas season goes to…

Seriously. It’s not even close. Remember American Girl? This company of dolls with historical connections and stories was big in the 1990s, and they are still popular to this day. There are some things that they do that are reasonably admirable (as we studied some of the literature the company created during a college course several years back), but there are also some things that they do that are incredibly ridiculous and, quick frankly, really deserved to be mocked on a certain level. We are largely talking about this American Girl Store that has a hospital and a restaurant where you can apparently serve real food to a fake doll, when it would be so much cheaper to give fake food.

Anyway, Conan O’Brien decided to pay a visit to said store on “Conan” this week, and the end results are almost funnier than we can put into words. Conan of course takes on the role of hilarious pest, trying to think of every little thing that he can do in order to terrorize the poor people who work there. The big winner for the “guy most desperate to keep his job” during the segment is the guy working as the waiter, who really plays this part with great commitment even though Conan trolls him the entire time as he hopes to drink his way through the rest of the madness that is coming at him.

While we suppose that this video in theory is not necessarily Christmas-themed, we feel like there is a pretty hefty amount of holiday spirit in it.
