ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Is big change up for Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion’s characters?

“Castle” season 6 has been about change no matter how you look at it; the season started with Castle and Beckett getting engaged, and then embarking on a long-distance relationship that forced them for a substantial amount of time to live apart from one another. But, Beckett found her way back to New York City, and they are starting to prepare for a real future together.

While there may not be too much in the way of scoop out there yet about the much-anticipated “Caskett” wedding, there could be another change coming up in the near future. After all, TVLine reports that the show is currently in the process of a Realtor for the upcoming 15th episode of the series entitled “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The main story revolves around a prep school where some surprising things unfold, but the Realtor casting is something that we’re going to be the most interested in.

Could Castle and Beckett move into a new place together? We’re by no means saying that this will happen, but this has to be something that is explored soon on some level. While Castle’s mother may not be a terrible inconvenience most of the time, you have to assume that eventually they would want their privacy, and a home that feels like both of theirs would level the playing field rather than a home that just was all about Castle or about Beckett. (But if they move, what happens to Linus?)

There are more “Castle” questions that we’ll probably get answers to a little later on during the hiatus, especially as we get closer to the winter premiere on January 6. There have already been some changes made to the schedule, and the first one will feature a story that is about an arsonist that really starts to put some of the characters in danger.
