ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Who is playing dad to Justin Hartley’s Patrick?
While you may have not seen any of Patrick on “Revenge” season 3 as of late, this is hardly an indication that he is done with the show. As a matter of fact, you can expect to see plenty of him once again in the second half of this season.
As some additional proof of that very thing, we now know who is going to be taking on the role of his dad. According to a report from TVLine, “Devious Maids” and “Lost” actor Brett Cullen is going to play the role of Jimmy starting with the 13th episode this season. Not that much is known about the character just yet, save for that he works in construction, and has gone on to start a new life and family for himself following his dalliance with Victoria Grayson so many years ago that led to Patrick’s birth.
But why turn up in the Hamptons now? The big mystery with this is that this is a guy who was completely a ghost for Patrick’s entire life, and now suddenly he is showing up? As always with this show, there is probably more going on here than meets the eye. There is also probably not going to be any real explanation given during the midseason finale Sunday night, unless Patrick somehow comes back and is involved in shooting Emily Thorne. We’re not completely ignoring the possibility of him being involved, given that he does want to protect Victoria and seemingly make her happy. Getting rid of her worst enemy is a pretty good way to do that, especially since it keeps Daniel from being with her forever.
“Revenge” will return early in the new year with some more new episodes, and following that, it will be March before the show returns in full as a part of a new block that also includes the new series “Resurrection.”

The show has made it clear that the shooting is being staged as Emily’s plan to frame Victoria for murder, it is a FAKE SHOOTING, nobody is going to shoot Emily. They are going to fake the murder and Emily’s body will not be found, Aiden will rescue her and they will go away together and get married. I sometimes wonder if you writers even watch the show?

Did you watch the most recent episode? “Exodus.” I recommend watching it before going off on this writer as you are very wrong.
