‘Arrow’ season 2, episode 10 preview: When will it return; what follows Manu Bennet reveal?
At the end of Wednesday night’s “Arrow” season 2 episode, there was a reveal that we imagine the vast majority of those watching saw coming: Slade, the one-time ally of Oliver Queen is now out to see him die. This is almost something that we imagined happening since we first heard that Manu Bennett was revealed as a series regular, and this also helps to more or less ensure that there is a major Big Bad for the second half of the season.
Of course, what makes this story all the more interesting is that from one standpoint, Brother Blood is more of the obvious villain; then, you have Slade working matters behind the scenes. Expect to see these stories coming to a head (or at least starting to) when the show returns to The CW starting on Wednesday, January 15. That’s more than a month away, but as far as Christmas hiatuses go, that’s not so bad. Also, you have to fondly remember the fact that there are still 13 episodes left in the season, which is just as many as we had for a full season for “Justified” or “Sons of Anarchy” this year. That means that there is quite a bit of story left to tell.
But if there are a few things that we could plead for right now, they would include more Oliver / Felicity teases, hopefully more from the Canary, and also trying to utilize Laurel in a way that is interesting, at least so long as she is a part of the cast. Katie Cassidy has had almost nothing to do over the last several of weeks save for maybe the story about her pill-popping.

I want to see Oliver and Laurel’s orbits start coming together again. Enough comments about Felicity and Oliver already – they do not have chemistry and she fits better as a sidekick! Be true to the comics and the core plots and give Laurel more storyline with Olly or all if this tangential universe crap will jump the shark!!

Patience. We know the end result, it’s better to sit back and enjoy what’s coming.h
