‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: Reminders of Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey’s past work

When you’ve been on the air for a full decade, that is a heck of a lot of time to start to assemble memories of everything that you have done. “Grey’s Anatomy” is a beast of a show, as well, one that requires extremely long days and plenty of work while you are filming the scenes, attending table reads, and so much more.

While the viewers clearly aren’t putting in that same sort of work towards making this show a success, they do have their own sort of massive investment in the story. So how are we going to see some of that pay off in the future? The simple answer is by presenting much more in the way of flashbacks. As E! News claims, the upcoming 13th episode of the season is going to be a big one for the Meredith and Derek characters, mostly in that we are going to see several reminders of the journey that they have been on over the years. When you consider that these two are part of the original group, that makes it all the more interesting what these reminders could be.

If you’re a big fan of Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey, though, let’s just hope that you have plenty of patience. In the new schedule that was just released by ABC for midseason, it was confirmed that “Grey’s Anatomy” and its Thursday-night partner “Scandal” are bot going to be off of the air until March. This means that a ton of waiting, especially when you won’t even have repeats to tide you over. (The show will instead be replaced by the cooking show “The Taste,” an attempt to really jam as much programming onto TV as possible in a short amount of time.)

Even before this episode airs, there will be plenty of other great “Grey’s Anatomy” couple stuff taking place. One of the recent teasers out there even suggests that a wedding between April and Matthew this fall is not out of the realm of possibility. Stay tuned for more on that.
