‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 10 preview: A blast from Mark Harmon’s past and more
Tonight on “NCIS,” we had the arrival of Emily Wickersham as Ellie Bishop, and while we felt that there was a mountain of pressure going into her debut on the show, she overall did a pretty great job. We almost now can assume that she is joining the team, based on the scene at the end of the episode involving Gibbs and the application.
So where is the story going to go from here? While you will see some of Bishop’s adjustment to her new surroundings on the December 10 “Devil’s Triad,” this installment is in particular going to be dealing with a story more centered around Mark Harmon’s Gibbs. Melinda McGraw is going to return as a certain woman from his past, who has since gone on to be with Agent Fornell..
Want to read more? Then just take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Complications arise when the NCIS team discovers a link between a murder victim and the current boyfriend of Gibbs and Agent Fornell’s ex-wife. Meanwhile, NSA Analyst Ellie Bishop adjusts to joining the NCIS team.”
In theory, this sounds like an episode that should be stuffed full of not only some good character moments, but also an ample transition. Now that we know a little about Bishop, there’s not going to be such a rush to jam everything in right away. The stuffing of stories tonight was a little more integral when it came to introducing the character, but now she can ease her way more into the family.

GREAT TIMEING FOR A NEW MEMBER OF THE TEAM! BISHOP WILL BE A PERFECT ADDITION. MAYBE THIS WILL TAKE A LITTLE OF THE SCHTICK AWAY FROM DI.NOZO(SOMETIMES TO MUCH). MARK , OF COURSE THE SHOW IS NOTHING WITHOUT YOU. YOUR SUPPORTING CAST IS PERFECT. A LONG, LONG WAY FROM “FLAMINGO ROAD”( MARK).
