‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, episode 7 preview: ‘Dead Weight,’ and hopes for something more
Are you ready for some more stunners on “The Walking Dead“? Let’s just hope that some of these are a little more interesting than what we ended up having on Sunday night’s new episode. If you were to look up “disappointment” in the dictionary, you would have probably seen a picture of that.
What the promo for “Dead Weight” airing next week suggests is that we are going to see some sort of infiltration, and the little group with The Governor is going to try to figure out some more ways to facilitate their survival, if they can at least.
Before we do anything else, let’s just start things off by sharing the full synopsis courtesy of AMC. It’s nice to have, but at the same time, there is really not much else to go on:
“Something new unfolds at a camp outside the prison; the addition of new members may threaten peace.”
One of the reasons why we are feeling a little bummed out here is that following this episode, we really don’t have any idea just what the show is doing with some of the characters. Why in the world have we still not seen Daryl’s reaction to Carol being out of the prison? By the time that we figure out the response, it’s not going to be nearly as impactful.
Given that we are near the end of the first half of the season, now is the time where we desperately do need to see a little bit more of the crazy come out. Unfortunately, for the time being all we have is more and more teasers, and no real answers to what we want to know. Let’s just cross our fingers that this provides the information that we really want to know about, and leaves out some of the plodding stories now that we are a full six episodes into the season.
