ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, and ‘A Murder Is Forever’

When you remember that Castle and Beckett on “Castle” are already engaged, then the title above becomes a little less cryptic. But when you have an episode called “A Murder Is Forever,” isn’t it easy to assume that a diamond is going to be involved?

This installment is set to air on November 11, which is just one week following the events that we are going to see in “Like Father, Like Daughter.” (You can watch a preview video for that one at this link.) Regardless of if a diamond is actually at the center of this episode’s case or not, there is going to be something valuable that both Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic’s characters are going to be forced to deal with. “When a famed relationship therapist is murdered, it appears that her access to the secrets of her elite and powerful clients led to her death. But when Castle and Beckett discover the victim was in possession of a rare object worth millions of dollars, they realize that this case may be even more complicated – and dangerous – than they thought.”

So is this similar in some ways to “Get a Clue,” the episode that we just saw on Monday night? It is in the way that it revolves around something of value that could be sought-after, but the big difference here is that the object is much more tangible, and can be looked at and examined.

The one unfortunate thing about this synopsis for now is that it offers up very little when it comes to the long-term story, which is a shame given that most episodes so far this season have at least offered up something, whether that be Beckett’s career status or Alexis and Rick having to analyze where their relationship stands.
