ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Molly Quinn steps up in ‘Like Father, Like Daughter’
Here is the situation at present: A “friend” (at least according to the promo below) of Alexis’s is going to be sitting on death row fro a crime that he claims to be innocent of, and it is going to be up to her in order to try and prove it with her father’s help. First, she has to convince him; but even after that, some sort of “twist” could put her firmly in harm’s way. (If Pi turns out to be some sort of awful serial killer, we will for sure lose it in a future article.)
The official synopsis from ABC also adds a few more details to the mix:
“Alexis enlists Castle’s help on an Innocence Review case to prove that a death row inmate, Frank Henson (guest star James Carpinello, ‘The Good Wife’), was wrongly convicted. With only 72 hours left before his execution, Castle and Alexis (with help from Beckett) urgently investigate the original murder, only to uncover explosive secrets that may seal Frank’s fate. Joelle Carter (‘Justified’) guest stars as Frank’s long-time girlfriend who has always believed in him.”
If Frank does end up being truly guilty, then what this episode may be about in the end is Alexis growing up. While she may want to see the good in people, this may be evidence that sometimes, there is not that much good to find.
