‘Arrow’ season 2: Take a deeper look at scene with Roy Harper, Black Canary (video)

Roy -Do you want to take a little bit of a deeper dive into what is happening right now on “Arrow” season 2? We hope so, since that is ultimately what the video we have for you below is really all about. It’s a chance to take a deeper look into what was one of the more electric and exciting scenes of this past season 2 episode, in the sprawling fight scene that broke out involving Roy Harper and a group of henchmen … which later ended up leading to the arrival of the Black Canary.

The video is really an explanation into how an elaborate fight scene like this comes together, and it is not easy when you start to look at and consider all of the varying parts that go into having something like this happen on screen and actually look good at the same time. You have different methods of attacking your foe, dodging punches, and also using some cool show-made weapons, including one large baton that quickly becomes two smaller batons. Judging from what we see here, the people on this stunt team could probably actually make a living out of fighting crime.

What will be somewhat interesting from here on out is seeing just how long the show waits before giving us some more information on who this Canary really is, and why she is fighting so hard to stay in Starling City and took on its array of terrible people. We understand and certainly want to root for her cleaning up and taking down the bad guys, but just as you would figure when you’ve got a show like this, there has to be a motivation and a backstory behind it. The longer that “Arrow” waits before telling us, the more insane we are more likely to get.

What do you think about the video below, and does this make you almost instantly want to see some more fight scenes play out involving the Canary this season? Be sure to share your thoughts below!
