‘The X Factor’ UK: Miss Dynamix member Sese Foster sick; group given pass to next week
During tonight’s episode of “The X Factor” UK, there was a shocker before the results were even named: Miss Dynamix would not be performing, and it was all due to a shocking illness that we learned about minutes before they were originally supposed to go on show.
As for precisely what happened, details were unclear, but Gary Barlow confirmed that Sese Foster has been admitted to the hospital and is doing much better. Since she is six months pregnant with her second child, he said that the last thing that he wants to do is take any substantial risks that could cause her trouble in the long-term, as her health comes so much before getting the opportunity to perform on the show’s stage.
Now, we turn to the more controversial part of this decision. It was revealed after the news first came out that due to the illness, the girls were given a pass to the next round of the competition. This is something that is a standard rule for the competition, as we have seen the likes of Lucy Spraggan and others use it in the past when they suffered an illness. The twist here is that in the event that she is ill again, she will be pulled from the competition along with likely the rest of the group.
Sese is currently expected to give birth early next year, which could create even more interesting situations should she go into labor early. The producers have already said that they have a plan in place in the event of something shocking happening, but they have not elaborated as to what that plan is. Hopefully, there will not be a situation where that has to be revealed, and the child can arrive both happy, healthy, and on time.
