‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3: Wilson Bethel on Zoe, Wade, and … meatballs?
In this latest chapter of “why we find Wilson Bethel to be hilarious,” we have the video interview below courtesy of The CW, where “Hart of Dixie” past and present is somewhat of a focus. Only Wilson could describe his character Wade’s relationship to Zoe as a “spicy meatball,” and then have it completely make sense when he talks about how it’s possible that the meatball is no longer even on the plate.
Most of this interview is spent with Wilson looking back on some of the events that took place back during season 2, ending with the big reveal that Rachel Bilson’s character is going to head back to New York for the summer rather than stick around in Bluebell. This of course is like a dagger deep into him, and Bethel says jokingly that if this happened to him, he’d take it as a pretty big sign that something major is amiss with the world.
So where are these two going to be when season 3 picks up come October 7? More or less in completely different places. Zoe is going to be dealing potentially with a new man in her life, whereas Wade will have spent some time focusing on improving the Rammer Jammer and bettering himself. His reaction to Zoe’s return is probably not going to be as kind as Zoe had hoped, and he even does a little bit of reassuring to Lemon when talking about the subject.
With all of this being said, we don’t know if “Zade” is ever going to be fully out of the picture. They’re just too popular of a couple to disappear from memory.
Want to hear from another Bluebell resident? Then just check out the video here, which features some highlights courtesy of Scott Porter as he talks about George trying to grow up in the wake of the Tansy breakup.
