‘Bones’ season 9 spoilers: Emily Deschanel on Booth – Brennan wedding, honeymoon

Love is in the air on “Bones” season 9, and this time, there are wedding bells to go along with it. The show has already filmed what is going to be one of their most-important scenes to date in the big ceremony between Booth and Brennan, and it is something that at least one member of the cast had quite a personal feeling about.

Speaking in an interview with TVLine on the red carpet for the Primetime Emmy Awards, Emily Deschanel said that they spent more time shooting the grand wedding scene than just about any other over the history of the show; typically, they can pull off quite a few scenes in a day, whereas this one took a little bit more time.

The actress also joked that as they were getting ready for the actual wedding, she and David Boreanaz had a funny real-life wedding sort of moment when she didn’t want him to see the dress:

“We were getting ready, and he walked into the hair and makeup trailer … [and I was like] ‘don’t look at me.’ … It did feel like a real wedding. I’ve had a relationship with these people, and David Boreanaz [and I] have had this [relationship].”

Following the wedding, there will of course be a honeymoon-themed episode that takes the two characters to a city in Buneos Aires, Argentina where they could fun some more trouble for themselves. After what happened on the “Dexter” finale last night (spoiler alert!), we wonder if they are going to run into Hannah McKay somewhere in there. Wouldn’t it at least be more entertaining then the “Dexter” finale?
