‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: More details unveiled from premiere

What happens in the aftermath of “Beauty and the Beast” season 1? We’re really not that far from finding out. The start of the new season is going to take place on Monday, October 7, and there is going to be a lot of drama that begins with Catherine desperate to find Vincent after his capture. It is almost a snowball effect in many ways, as this story will take center stage, and everything else that happens will snowball from there.

“Three months after Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan) was abducted by Muirfield, Detective Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk), is reunited with him – but not in the way she planned. He’s changed: his scar has disappeared, his memory has been wiped clean and he returns as a supercharged beast on a mysterious mission. Catherine needs to unravel the reasons behind Vincent’s change if she has any hopes of recovering their epic love, while also trying to solve the secrets that swirl around her own life.”

One thing that we have already learned about the new season is that there will be new mysteries that surface, and they will occur in several different forms. Cat’s discovery will yield some surprises, and given that Gabe is going to be around once again with a new lease on life, you have to imagine that there will be some interesting situations that end up being born out of that.
