‘Big Brother 15’ finale: Candice Stewart says Aaryn Gries ‘not racist’
Let’s be honest here that there were quite a few people on “Big Brother 15” that you were probably excited to hear from and Candice Stewart is one of those people. She was by and large pretty likable, and we were genuinely surprised by some of what she said in her post-show chat with Jeff Schroeder tonight.
Basically, Candice told “Big Jeff” that she actually does not think that Aaryn Gries is a racist; rather, she said that she was “ignorant” for some of her comments, and blamed it on a number of things in her background and the way in which she grew up. She said that the two talked out their problems in jury, which is nice to hear, and that Aaryn was deeply affected by what happened to her with Julie Chen in her eviction interview.
Do we believe what Candice is saying? It’s hard to really know, but we do have to say this: Aaryn was surely on her best behavior in jury, and we think that the real test of if she has changed will come after the fact, when she is at home with her friends. Who knows? She could go home and stay nasty, but we hope not. We hope she does learn something from all of this, and if she does, we also hope that the fans don’t threaten to kill her or doing anything else crazy. We don’t like her at all, but some of the viewers at times this season have been just as awful (if not more) than the players.

Whose writing this blog? Speak for yourself and stop saying we to cover up your own views. It’s obvious you don’t wish Aron well and want controversy to continue. Wow.
