ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Watch a Nathan Fillion – Molly Quinn scene (video)

You have likely already seen the beginnings of a very important Castle / Beckett scene from the upcoming “Castle” season 6 premiere, so for this article, why not take on something a little bit different?

Specifically, what we are looking at here is the pretty surprising revelation that Nathan Fillion’s character is going to make following a book tour on the West Coast: Not only is his daughter back in New York City a little early, but she has a certain someone named Pi staying with her at the loft. This guy looks like a hipster and certainly acts like one, and he also apparently loves hugs and referring to Rick by the name “Mr. C,” which almost feels straight out of a rerun for “Happy Days.”

So what is the reaction to this newcomer? At the moment , it really is just confusion more so than anything else. He doesn’t quite understand why this guy is suddenly there and living at his place, and we totally agree. While Alexis is somewhat of a free spirit, we still have a hard time imagining just why she thought it would be okay for her to have a stranger living at Castle’s house, especially without telling him about it beforehand. Now, he’s in a position where if he sends the guy off, he looks like a horrible human being. Meanwhile, if he lets him stay, he may look a little too much like a guy who lets his daughter get away with everything.

And to think, Castle probably thought that helping to solve crimes were going to be some of his hardest duties moving into the fall…
