‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: More news on Alex / Jo, April’s board exam
Let us start this “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10 update by planting the focus on a couple that we have been waiting to find out some more news about in Alex and Jo. What’s the good news here? It looks like we we are finally going to have an opportunity to know whether or not that they are going to make this relationship work.
Following up some early details that we had on the upcoming October 3 episode entitled “Everybody’s Crying Mercy,” the full synopsis below via ABC reveals that Justin Chambers and Camilla Luddington’s characters are going to end up staying together for at least a little while longer:
“Meredith and Derek adjust to life at home with a newborn but find it difficulty being away from the hospital; Arizona tries to takes steps to fix her broken marriage; Alex and Jo navigate through their new relationship; and Owen clashes with Jackson over financial issues at the hospital. Meanwhile, April anxiously awaits her boards results.”
The story about April of course is also worth pointing out here, given that this marks an opportunity for her to really go full-circle from when she last failed the exam earlier on in the show’s run. Could she potentially see this as an opportunity for redemption? We hope so, given that it did not exactly end up going well the first time. Now that she has had the experience of going through the boards once, it’s also hard to imagine that she will be nearly as stressed about it this time. Heck, the fact that she has been able to stay at the hospital during her time in between tests is something that should prove to be rather valuable for her.
In going back to Alex, it is looking more and more like he is set to have an extremely emotional season on the show. After all, we have just found out who is going to be playing his estranged father in multiple episodes.
